By Bus
Brecon is on the X43 bus route. There is a regular bus service (http://www.traveline-cymru.info/) to Brecon from Abergavenny in the east, as well as to and from Cardiff. The bus station in Abergavenny is about 10 minutes walk from the railway station on the A40.
The Brecon interchange is about 5 minutes walk from Biped Cycles. From the interchange turn Left past the Market Tavern walk to the end of the road, turn Right to the centre of town, head to Lloyds Bank stay left onto Ship Street and Biped Cycles is at the bottom of the hill by the traffic lights.
Beacons Bus
The Beacons Bus runs on Sundays and Bank Holidays from 26th May to 22nd September 2014. This service is not just for visitors to the National Park, residents can have a car-free day in the hills with the Beacons Bus.(http://www.travelbreconbeacons.info/beacons-bus)
By Train
The nearest railway station is Abergavenny with frequent services from Manchester and Birmingham via Hereford from the north and from Newport from the south and east. Newport has a half hourly service during the week from London’s Paddington Station, which also links to services from Cardiff and the west. By Car
Brecon is 40 miles from Cardiff on the A470. Stay on the A470 to the Brecon roundabout take the 3rd exit on to the B4601, at the 3rd traffic lights on the river bridge (you can see Biped Cycles straight ahead of you).
Brecon is 20 miles from Abergavenny on the A40. Stay on the A40 to the Brecon roundabout take the 2nd exit on to the B4601, at mini roundabout continue forward onto the B4601, follow signs for Through Traffic (w), Turn Right onto Ship Street, Biped Cycles is located at the bottom of Ship Street by the Traffic lights.
